    They believe that God or the sacred are in all things, including humans, so to connect with God or Brahman, they look inwards.

    Hinduism is not panthiest in the Graeco-Roman sense. There are significant fundamental differences.
    In Hinduism, they acknowledge the highest truth via separate god-forms.
    The fundamental difference is seen between Christian and Buddhist cultures. In Christian culture, one surrenders to God and God descends to lift up humans. In Buddhist culture one ASCENDS and becomes god-like through practice of meditation and virtue, with no reference in words to God.
    But they are the same Goal.
    Meditation is the main path whereby one ascends to God, in eastern faiths.
