Solid team. However, I would change Golem’s rock throw to either focus punch or Stone edge to take care of the ice trainer of the Elite 4

a water/ice type and a good electric type could crush your team…charizard vaporeon and pidegot all die from electric and ice beam dragonite and surf agenst golem and gengar is poison so a psychc would take him down…yeah… try to make it so it is hard to predict what you will have so they will not know what to do..

Against other trainers it looks pretty solid, get rid of rock throw on Golem and replace it with stone edge and get rid of blast burn on Charizard, it’s basically a fire type hyper beam which is never a good move unless it’s your last attack and half the time you aren’t sure if that attack is the one that finishes him off which also means get rid of hyper beam on Dragonite. Also switch curse for hypnosis since that cost of half it’s health isn’t a good enough benefit to taking out a decent portion of the opponents health each turn.
Against another person however a Starmie with Icebeam, Thunderbolt (or thunder), Surf, and Psychic will have the type advantage on each and every one of your team.

    Charizard’s moves should be:
    Flamethrower or Heat Wave
    Earthquake
    Thunder Punch
    Brick Break or Focus Blast
    Golem:
    Earthquake
    Double Edge
Stone Edge, Brick Break, or Focus Blast
    Explosion
    I’d put a focus band on him…
    Pidgeot:
    Fly
    Air Slash
    Steel Wing
    U-turn
    Vaporeon
    Ice Beam
    Surf
    Iron Tail
    Dig
    Dragonite
    Dragon Claw
    Flamethrower
    Earthquake
    Brick Break or Focus Blast
    Gengar
    Shadow Ball
    Brick Break or Focus Blast
    Sludge Bomb
    Dark Pulse

Um, mate sorry but my Wife just pointed out that her 3rd Gen Lapras could OHKO your entire lineup! It has these moves – Hydro Pump (Golem & Charizard), Ice Beam (Dragonite & Pidgeot), Thunderbolt (Vaporeon) and Psychic (Gengar). YES this Lapras DOES exist in 3rd Gen so watch out for it!
